Events can be stressful. How am I going to come up with that big idea that’ll get everyone excited? And then, how am I going to pull it off? So many vendors, volunteers, permits, and stresses to juggle, so little time…

I started Sector on Tap by combining my three passions: events, music, and beer. My experience in each industry compliments each other and makes me unique among event specialists - as I’m able to draw upon my successes in:

National & international live music booking, programming, and promotion
Event creation and management for everything from charities to sports
A strong knowledge and presence in the local and regional craft brewing market

I forged my expertise through nearly a decade of NYC hustle and recently transplanted to my new favorite place on earth, Charlotte. My approach to collaboration, precise organization, and laser-focus on detail makes managing an event as stress-free as attending it.

Jason Sector

Before moving from Queens to the sunny skies of the Queen City, I had accumulated a diversity of experiences in my professional and personal lives. I had booked shows for audiences of 5 to 50,000, coordinated medical logistics for Tough Mudder, and survived the World's Toughest, hiked to Machu Picchu, and drank several steins at Oktoberfest in Munich.

Since relocating to Charlotte, I have been exploring how to create a similar diversity of experiences by combining my passion for great music, beer, and events - with the goal of sharing it with others.

In my free time you can frequently find me enjoying a pint at of one of the incredible Charlotte breweries, supporting the local music scene, exploring a new hiking trail, or simply playing with Penny, my Vizsla puppy!
